In the past years the happy-hours became a destination event in Formentera. Hundreds, maybe thousands of people used to meet on the beach to watch the sunset and enjoy fresh mojitos while loosening up to the rhythm of the kiosks’ music.
Unfortunately, this success caused many problems due to its close proximity to the natural park’s protected dunes. For this and safety reasons, it is forbidden for the beach bars to play music from 8pm.
The nightlife in Formentera has only one name: Es Pujols. This is in fact the main touristic town of the island, but above all, the epicenter of the nightlife. Everything takes place in the few streets in the centre of this little village, where, among hostels, restaurants and shops, you will find some of the best clubs on the island to have fun until dawn.
The most famous nightclub is propably Banana's & Co, a bar with an open air terrace and a room to dance and loosen up to the dj’s tunes.It is one of the best meeting points of the island thanks to its open air area and because it’s one of the trendiest as well.
