Espalmador Beach is located on the namesake island north of Formentera. You have two ways to get here: swimming from Illetas beach, being extremely careful because of the dangerous currents present in this sea strait or a better and safer short boat journey from the Port of La Savina.
This wonderful and wild little island is well known for the lovely Alga beach, a small bay with fine sand bathed by crystal, pristine and swallow waters. It is a protected area for being part of a natural park and there aren’t any touristic facilities here. But its extraordinary attraction is the sulfurous lagoon, where you can have warm clay baths that are supposed to have many benefits on your skin.
To get to the lagoon just follow the path to the inner side of the island and once you’ve found it, just enjoy the clay bath!
