Formenteravuela

VAMOS A LA PLAYA!

We can definitely assure that the main attractions of Formentera are its breathtaking sea and beaches. Though the small size of the island, you will find lots of kilometers of coast and small bays which will thrill you and give you unforgettable memories. Its clear water with colors going from turquoise to cobalt blue and its sand with pink grooves will make you understand why it’s been called “Caribbean of the Mediterranean”.

Grab a motorbike and a map and don’t even miss one of the following beaches we have tried to describe as best as possible. Surf the different sections and let your fantasy take you to a colorful, relaxing and harmonic world.

MARKETS

Every Wednesday and Sunday of the summer season, you’ll see a hustle of motorbikes driving to La Mola, the highest spot of the island and a shopping attraction. It is precisely on these days starting from 4pm that the art and crafts fair or “hippy market” takes place.

Here, as well as in Ibiza, the hippy movement has survived for several decades after arriving to the Pitiusas (pine islands) in the 60’s. Some of the hippies continue their lifestyle on the island: naturalist, tranquil and liberal. Thanks to the existence of the market, they have also found a way to survive.

RESTAURANTS

Below are our restaurant suggestions but we recommend you to choose your best option depending on where you are.
